CRM Specialist

Location: Boston, MA



The Brattle Group is seeking a full-time CRM Specialist to support the firm’s marketing efforts. The Client Relationship Management (CRM) Specialist works in a collaborative environment to manage the firm’s CRM database, InterAction. This includes conducting data cleanup and quality control, providing training and troubleshooting support to all users, helping to monitor the flow of information between the CRM and other firm databases, and managing mailing lists. This position reports to the Senior Marketing Manager, but liaises with numerous departments within the firm and plays a key role in the success of Brattle’s internal and external communications initiatives. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Working interdepartmentally to ensure consistency of data and adherence to data quality best practices
  • Managing user accounts and licenses and providing new user and on-going training
  • Conducting ongoing data cleansing to ensure effectiveness of marketing communications, including checking for duplicate contacts and standardizing data fields
  • Documenting CRM- and data-related policies and procedures and answering questions as they arise from staff
  • Monitoring overall maintenance and accuracy of data in the firm’s CRM and the flow of data between the CRM and other databases
  • Staying current on CRM best practices in order to optimize database infrastructure to support efficient search and reporting capabilities based on the needs of the firm
  • Overseeing and updating corporate structure of client records, including researching and verifying company mergers, name changes, and locations
  • Understanding firm's practice group structure and marketing initiatives to compile and deliver mailing lists as well as client and prospect data


This position requires strong organizational, collaboration, and research skills.  The ideal candidate will also possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 4 years of professional experience including 2 years of database administration
  • Advanced knowledge of InterAction Web & Windows client or similar CRM database
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in performing high-speed data entry
  • General knowledge of corporate structures and basic corporate research
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of client, firm, and personnel information
  • Familiarity with professional services marketing a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced office environment handling multiple tasks and demands
  • Must be able to exercise appropriate judgment and demonstrate appropriate and effective communication skills.
  • Evening work as well as occasional travel may be required.
