Human Resources Assistant

Location: Multiple Offices



The Brattle Group is seeking a flexible and motivated individual with excellent customer service, time management, and communication skills for full-time Human Resources Assistant positions in our Boston, MA and Washington, DC offices.

This position provides administrative support in the functional areas of the human resources department, which include recruiting, new employee on-boarding, and performance management. The HR Assistant will ensure high quality and timely administration of transactional and administrative HR processes.  This position will work with all members of the HR team and reports to the Recruiting Manager.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Schedule and coordinate candidate phone, video, and in-office interviews
  • Maintain and organize recruiting email inbox and respond to candidate inquiries as directed
  • Publish and maintain internal and external job postings and assist with applicant tracking
  • Create, maintain, and update both electronic and hard copy candidate and employee files
  • Assist with new hire on-boarding and data entry into Human Resources database
  • Provide administrative support during performance management cycles
  • Generate HR-related reports and provide assistance in invoicing, expense reporting, and account reconciliation
  • Provide general administrative/project support to HR team as assigned

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of 1 to 2 years of professional office experience, ideally in Human Resources
  • A working, intermediate knowledge of MS Office suite
  • Ability and desire to work in a dynamic office environment involving multiple tasks
  • Must be able to exercise good judgment in handling confidential information and matters
  • Strong customer service orientation including excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to build rapport with team and internal clients
  • Problem solving skills
  • Evening and weekend work may be required
  • Occasional travel may be required
