The School of Humanities and Social Sciences includes pre-university social sciences programs as well as education techniques that will prepare you to enter the job market. LaSalle College wants to above else instill in students a true understanding of the profession. This attitude can be seen once again with the opening of the LaSalle des petits daycare. Aspiring specialized educators and childhood educators, through collaborative efforts, will ensure their success and be well prepared to enter the job market.

We are looking for teachers to increase our bank of candidates for our Special Care Counseling program. For the upcoming Fall semester, we are recruiting a teacher for the Special Care Counselling Roles and Duties class.


  • Plan and coordinate the course according to the course outline given by the College;
  • Develop learning activities;
  • Give and evaluate the assignments and final projects;
  • Answer the questions, follow up and make sure the students meet the objectives of the course;

  • Demonstrate professional ethics and have pedagogical abilities;
  • Good communication skills and abilities for teamwork;
  • Bilingual (oral and written);
  • You must also be legally entitled to work in Canada and meet one of the following criteria:
    • Possess a University certificate or a diploma or a college diploma with an option or a concentration in the concerned field.
    • Teach or have teaching experience in the concerned field for a full semester within a five years period.
    • Have had a job position or a profession related to the concerned field or course for at least 3 years.
