Performs all CT procedures producing CT radiographs of designated anatomical areas as ordered/directed, according to established practices and procedures. Reports to Supervisor or Manager.
Minimum Education Associate's degree or graduate of a radiologic technology program preferred.
Minimum Work Experience: Sufficient previous experience in a radiology department and in radiologic and CT procedures preferred, along with thorough knowledge of radiologic and CT terminology, practices and procedures, physiology and human anatomy.
Required Licenses-- Mississippi,Radiologic Technologists and Technicians
Maintains current Registry and State License. Maintains current Registry and State License, and must attain CT certification by the ARRT within 18 months of hire.
Required Skills Must demonstrate ability to recognize patients' individual needs based on medical conditions, age, limitations and planned procedures.
