A Day in the Life of an RSI SharePoint Developer:

The .NET / SharePoint Developer will build and configure SharePoint web forms and applications using web UI, Visual Studio or SharePoint Designer and develop code for SharePoint.  This position will also entail building business approval processes with Microsoft InfoPath and 3rd party Workflow tools (nintex).

  • Design and code SharePoint Applications

  • Gather requirements and build SharePoint lists, document Libraries, Sites, Form Libraries, Workflows, and custom forms.

  • Communicate and enforce best practice coding standards

  • Consistently deliver high-quality services to clients on schedule

  • Ability to scale the solution to the client’s goals and budget

  • Create detailed documentation, test scripts, and implementations

  • Provide general technical support and training to RSI and for our clients

Expertise an RSI Colleague will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science

  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2010/2013 a plus

  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience developing .net applications

  • Experience with security definition/setup

  • Solid understanding of business workflows and capabilities of SharePoint Servers, Services and Microsoft Office Suite (InfoPath forms, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) a plus

  • Knowledge of architectural design, SharePoint/Web development, management and troubleshooting with a focus on deploying and supporting SharePoint solutions a plus

  • Experience integrating JavaScript applications into sites a plus

  • Experience with nintex workflows a plus

  • Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment
