Program Coordinator

 

Summary

The Program Coordinator assists the Executive Director of AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety in carrying out a variety of technical and administrative tasks. Some of tasks to be performed by the Program Coordinator include tracking projects and tasks to ensure timely completion; prioritizing requests and inquiries from various sources; maintaining some relevant and sensitive information; drafting certain correspondences and documents; coordinating outreach activities and travel itineraries; and arranging key meetings and appointments. This individual also work closely with other associates from AAA Foundation, AAA National, and AAA clubs to optimize communication and flow of pertinent information and minimize confusion and delays.

 

Relationship of Job to Management

This position reports directly to the Executive Director, AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

1.    Provides assistance on a variety of technical and administrative tasks such as tracking projects and tasks; prioritizing requests and inquiries; maintaining some relevant and sensitive information; drafting correspondences and documents; coordinating outreach activities and travel itineraries; and arranging key meetings and events. (60%)

2.    Serves as the first point-of-contact for AAA National, AAA clubs, and external entities for inquiries and requests to ensure timely responses with correct information and materials; facilitates proper communication between AAA Foundation, AAA National office, and AAA clubs to ensure effective collaboration. (30%)

3.    Performs additional technical and administrative tasks as require in support the mission of the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety. (10%)

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree with emphasis in technical/scientific fields
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in managing multiple tasks and working with professionals who have diverse technical backgrounds
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and appreciate team work environment
  • Proficient with computer technologies and software
