Description

The Systems Analyst will work in the Application Development group to build applications that
enhance and improve Back-Office Operations. The Analyst will report to the Manager of Application
Development and is responsible for all aspects of the application development process, including
requirements, development, testing, implementation and maintenance.

Primary responsibilities:

• Learn existing application and database framework
• Maintain and enhance existing applications and processes as needed
• Work with members of the Back-Office to determine automation needs
• Develop applications in the approved technologies to meet all requirements
• Analyze, select and integrate vendor software where necessary
• Unit test applications to ensure functionality meets specification and work with Back-Office to
  implement into operational processes
• Liaison with internal colleagues and external counterparties to ensure seamless integration is
  achieved when implementing or enhancing applications
• Work as a technical intermediary between Back-Office staff and application vendors

Qualifications include:

• Experience building applications in WPF, XAML
• Experience using application patterns like MVVM and MVC in WPF
• Experience writing tests including Unit, Integration, Automated UI
• Experience with SQL server, Classic ASP and the .net development platform, specifically C# and ASP.NET
• Understanding of hedge fund processes: allocations, valuation and recons
• Understanding of investments: fixed income, swaps/derivatives and financing
• Minimum 5 years of prior related experience within a financial services firm
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Strong technical and project management skills
• Ability to challenge current processes in order to improve them
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others
• Ability to work well under pressure and within a deadline driven environmentStrong technical and project management skills
