Description

 

The Counseling Services program at Catholic Charities is seeking a highly qualified Bilingual Clinician for our St. Michael's Home for Children program in Houston, TX.   

The individual that fills this position will be responsible for:

  • Providing individual and group counseling and psychoeducational services to children and families in compliance with professional licensing standards, agency standards, COA standards, ORR requirements, and HIPPA within the St. Michael's Home for Children Program of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.  

  • Completes required documentation of client progress within required timeframes; maintaining client records in accordance with regulatory/agency standards. Completing data entry tasks associated with tracking measurable outcomes and performance management.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or other mental health field;

  • Texas professional licensure in good standing (LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LPC-Intern, LMFT, LMFT Associates).

  • At least five years of experience providing clinical services; and

  • Fluency in English and Spanish.

  • Experience in providing services to the survivors of trauma.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
