Entercom Kansas City is seeking a General Sales Manager. We are looking for creative, can-do person to take an active role in leading new business development and implementing initiatives among our cluster of radio stations and digital platforms. You will lead a talented sales force that has the assets to win. You must have proven success in radio or media sales management to be considered. 
 
Responsibilities:
• Achieve or exceed station budgets and forecasts
• Hire, train, motivate and retain the best sales team
• Develop deep customer relationships
• Effectively manage the station sales department, including account & inventory management, pricing and negotiations
• Develop integrated revenue opportunities through creative customer focused marketing
• Work in concert with programming, promotions and other sales managers
 
Qualifications:
• Integrity and impeccable leadership skills
• Ability to coach both highly skilled and new to business Account Managers
• Contagious enthusiasm for the sales process 
• Analytical aptitude, computer literacy & competency in all basic software, CRS and traffic systems
• Effective time management and organizational skills with attention to accuracy & detail
• Ability to express yourself well in email, PowerPoint, Excel and in person
• Must be self-motivated, able to solve problems and work effectively in a pressure-filled environment
