Background for the project
Guinea is a country poised and ready to realize its economic potential. Though coming from a history of colonial and later military rule, Guinea has emerged as a democracy seeking to drive inclusive growth. The current administration is particularly committed to improving the country’s economic outlook and attracting investors. Acknowledging that significant change is required in order to improve the government’s performance, the Prime Minister of Guinea is establishing of a Strategic Delivery Unit (SDU) to efficiently deliver on the priorities of the country.
The SDU, for which the external consultant is required, will be dedicated to support the operationalization of its vision and mandate trough close collaboration with relevant government institutions (Ministries, Departments, Agencies) and donors. The team will also work on establishing the SDU systems for staff, engagement, procurement, finance and other operational aspects which will need to be in place as the Strategic Delivery Unit expands
