DEA’s is looking to hire an Office Survey Technician to be based in our Woodinville, WA offices.  The position responsibilities will be diverse and will include performing boundary, topography, ALTA, right of way, and construction surveys for public and private clients. You will also be responsible for the operation and maintenance of survey equipment, taking field notes, data collection, performing calculations and working with DEA staff and clients on these projects. Involvement in the office will include reducing survey data, performing calculations, copying and filing of this data.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree highly desired
  • Prefer 2-3 years’ experience including boundary, topographic, and ALTA surveys, construction staking and data collection
  • Leica and GPS experience preferred
  • Experience working in both a field and an office environment preferred
  • Proficiencies with MS Word and Excel a plus
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment required
  • Strong work ethic and accountability required
  • Clean driving record required (no more than 3 accidents and/or moving violations in the last 36 months or 2 accidents and or moving violations within the last 12 months)
