EDUCATION:

  • Bachelors Degree + 8 years experience in  programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
  • No Degree + 13 total years experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.

 

Job Description OVERVIEW:

Designs classroom (lecture and labs) and computer based training content.

Prepares and maintains training materials and schedules.

Conducts classroom training, hands-on lab training, and on the job training (OJT).

Ensures that all training materials, facilities, and evaluation materials are available.

Ensures that hardware and software systems are available prior to the start of a class.

Ensures that the systems are properly configured.

Responds to customer needs to develop training schedules and to identify future training needs.

Reviews training materials and training presentations.

Evaluates training plans.

Evaluates student learning against training goals.

Makes recommendations for modifying course content or delivery.

 

Labor Category Qualifications and Responsibilities:

Designs training materials and supporting documentation for classroom, lab, and Computer

Based Training (CBT) courses.

Documents a schedule for training, identifying course location, capacity, trainers, systems and course materials that will be required.

Develops new training approaches and courses in response to stakeholder and Government requests.

Presents training material.

Evaluates existing training materials, presentation methods and testing. Develop plans for improved training methods and student learning.

Evaluates training (courses, methods, materials, content, etc.). Recommends improvements to methods, materials and testing.

Uses provided course and trainer evaluations to evaluate training effectiveness.

Reviews training curricula (for example, content, learning objectives).

Evaluates alternative training technologies (for example, e-learning, learning management systems).

Conducts training needs assessments.

Uses student evaluations, personal observations and feedback from supported units to develop performance improvement recommendations.
