iNovex is seeking a multi-talented Cyber Reverse Engineer, in support of a Prime contract, to conduct independent research and testing to tackle challenging, mission critical problems. Qualified individuals must be technically innovative, with the persistence and creativity need to thoroughly explore different methods of performing software vulnerability analysis on a dynamically changing list of technologies.
To join our team of highly talented Cyber Reverse Engineers, experience in the following domains are necessary:
Analyze assembly-level code for: ARM, ARM64, Mips, etc.
Conduct computer network vulnerability research and packet analysis of the protocols that span the OSI model.
Develop capabilities that communicate using native communication channels.
Knowledge of computing systems from Boot ROM/BIOS through the operating system and up to the application layer of embedded, mobile, or desktop/enterprise computing environments.
Automate development and testing tasks through the use of scripting languages such as Python, Perl, and Ruby.
Develop tools in support of reverse engineering and vulnerability research of embedded, firmware, software, and hardware.
Collaborate and participate on small, multidisciplinary teams that are focused on developing innovative cyber capabilities spanning embedded, firmware, software, and hardware.
Support forensics activities and analysis on embedded, firmware, software, and hardware.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering along with 20 years of experience in the area of combined software development to include reverse engineering of IT products for development of mission focused tools
5 or more years of direct experience conducting reverse engineering, vulnerability research, and development of embedded, firmware, or software systems.
Working knowledge of various microprocessors and assembly such as x86, ARM, PowerPC, or Mips.
Python coding experience
Ability to understand and analyze C/C++/C#/Assembly is required
Intrinsic knowledge of at least 1 mobile, or desktop/enterprise operating system such as the following:
Mobile - Android, iOS, or Windows
Desktop – Linux, Windows, OS X, or UNIX
Reverse engineering experience using IDA Pro, OllyDbg, Radare2, or WinDbg.
Experience developing and debugging embedded systems using embedded tool chains.
Experience conducting vulnerability research for wireless or mobile devices.
