As a Prime, iNovex’s Mission Engineers/System Administrators will provide system administrative and life cycle support to field, sustain, and enhance currently fielded and future critical systems. Further, they will maintain and improve system software and applications for these systems and assist Systems Engineers with the analysis of user and system requirements and constraints. Successful candidates will also maintain Linux-based systems as well as software backups and software development management tools; utilize scripting tools to assist with routine system administrator tasks; perform system updates, backups, anti-virus package installations and create and maintain user accounts; and troubleshoot network problems as required.
·Must have a current Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification or higher OR become certified within six (6) months of being assigned to the position (iNovex can provide financial assistance for certification costs!)
·Must have at least one of the following certifications: A+, CCNA, Network+, SSCP, GICSP, GSEC, Sec+ or SSC
·Must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation
·Six (6) years of UNIX and/or LINUX workstation, server and network support experience
·Four (4) years of computer networking experience including node configuration and management
·Four (4) years of router and other network communications equipment configuration, maintenance and management experience
·Four (4) years of experience with DNS, NFS, SSH, and NTP
