RESPONSIBILITIES and KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

The Analyst – Corporate Finance assesses financial performance and valuation through detailed financial models for development projects, acquisitions, or current operating sites. The Analyst – Corporate Finance also supports the Finance team in financing and capital allocation decisions. The Analyst – Corporate Finance reports to the Director of Finance.

 

Responsibilities include direction of the following areas:

  • Develops and maintains complex financial models
  • Builds financial models for development projects and acquisitions
  • Maintains financial models for assets in operation
  • Prepares presentations and other materials for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Participates in the due diligence process and execution of financings and M&A transactions
  • Gathers and synthesizes financial and operating information about companies and industries
  • Manages several projects at once and works effectively as an individual and as part of a team
  • Responsible of financial reporting for major project investment
  • Other projects/mandates for the Director of Finances and the Chief Financial Officer

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

  • University degree in Business/Commerce, Finance or Accounting
  • A minimum of 2 years relevant of execution capabilities including ability to execute M&A and capital raising processes
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be very proficient in using Excel
  • Ability to deal with a variety of people in the sites, at corporate office and financial institutions
  • Bilingual is essential
