PARTNER ENGAGEMENT LEAD
 
The World Economic Forum Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (the “Center”) in San Francisco is looking for a Partner Engagement Lead.
 
Reporting to the Head of Partner Engagement North America, the Partner Engagement Lead will work with startups in Silicon Valley and elsewhere to build relationships with them as Center Members, and with larger companies to engage them as Center Partners.
 
The position is based in San Francisco.
 
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop the Center’s membership community by identifying key potential Partners and Members that can contribute to and engage in the mission of the Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, understanding their strategic interests and priorities, and shaping compelling value propositions.
  • Manage the Center Members Community, by acting as a trusted adviser of Center Member and Partner companies, guiding them on the Forum’s platform, and ensuring that they derive the highest value from their engagement.
  • Create and deploy tools to support scaling of development efforts as well as generating better constituent experience across the Forum teams.
  • Coordinate and lead special development activities with other internal teams as well as with external organisations.
  • Work on all matters that affect the Center Members across all regions.
 
Qualifications and Skills
  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in business, economics, science or other relevant subject
  • A minimum of 7 years’ work experience, including three years of account management experience, with significant exposure to Digital and Technology companies
  • Client-facing function with proven track record in business development or relationship management; solid commercial acumen
  • Ability to work with and build long-term, trust-based relationships with C-suite executives
  • Strategic and creative skills in thinking, research, writing and presentation
  • Native-level proficiency in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus
  • Experience working across numerous teams and regions is an advantage
  • Must be a team player and self-starter who enjoys working in a highly collaborative environment
