Postdoctoral position in traumatic brain injury (TBI) research highlighting: (1) validation of clinical endpoints including acute imaging and fluid biomarkers ; (2) validation of outcome measures used by ongoing TRACK-TBI consortium; (3)potential moderators of recovery including sex-specific characteristics; (4) clinical trials of acute and subacute interventions to enhance recovery. Opportunity to publish findings from the ongoing TRACK-TBI consortium. Mentoring by Harvey Levin, Ph.D. and Claudia Robertson, M.D. in the Departments of Neurosurgery and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Baylor College of Medicine. The postdoc would join a multi-disciplinary team linked with investigators at other sites in the TRACK-TBI consortium. We are seeking a highly qualified and productive candidate with a Ph.D. and/or M.D. with expertise in some of the following areas: 1) human TBI research; 2) brain imaging analysis; 3)statistics; 4)clinical trials. Ability to work on a team and independently; excellent communication and organizational skills.
We will consider candidates with a Ph.D. in neuroscience, neuropsychology or statistics.
