The Section of Pediatric Infectious Diseases in the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine is recruiting a qualified physician who will serve as full-time faculty for the Transplant Infectious Disease service at the Texas Children's Hospital (TCH) Main Campus location. The physician will work with multidisciplinary solid organ and stem cell transplant teams and see transplant patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
Clinical responsibilities include completing pre-transplant evaluations, optimizing immunizations in transplant patients, and treating and preventing infectious diseases in transplant patients. The physician would also be responsible for participating in the TCH transplant quality improvement program and teaching trainees who rotate with the transplant ID service. Clinical experience in transplant ID is desired but not required.
- Successful completion of a Fellowship Program in Pediatric Infectious Diseases.
- Minimum of 1-3 years Pediatric Infectious Diseases patient care experience is preferred.
- Board Certified in Pediatric Infectious Diseases preferred, or Board Eligible.
