Team Leader

Location: Warwick, Rhode Island



The Team Leader is responsible for assisting in the successful operations of the Rhode Island office. This position reports to the Regional Manager of the Rocky Hill, CT office.

Typical Duties & Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Supervises bridge inspection, evaluation, and design or repair of bridges.
  • Responsible for assisting in proposal preparation.
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets.
  • Responsible for project schedules and timely completion of projects.
  • Be active in Technical societies such as; ACEC.
  • Be available to attend meetings or events outside of normal working hours.

Qualification Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • RI PE or the ability to obtain
  • 5+ years of bridge safety inspection experience.
  • Field work required.
  • Open Water Dive Certification a plus.

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write technical reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, evaluate facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
