Position description:

The Clinical Pharmacology Department is searching for a clinical pharmacologist to lead clinical pharmacology programs in all phases of clinical development.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Represent clinical pharmacology at clinical development team by designing and executing clinical pharmacology studies to investigate the influence of intrinsic and extrinsic factors on PK/PD, & drug-drug interactions.

  • Apply quantitative pharmacology by integrating clinical PK/PD, biology, pharmacology, toxicology, biomarker for dose optimization.

  • Collaborate with external networks in the field of clinical pharmacology, modeling & simulation (e.g. academia, consortia & CROs) and keep up to date with emerging literature and science in drug development.

 

Basic qualifications:

  • Individual with a PharmD or Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences related fields with minimum of 5 years in clinical pharmacology.

  • Experience in different phases of drug development within pharmaceutical industry.

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to influence, negotiate and collaborate with team members.

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experiences representing clinical pharmacology on project team, past experiences in developing therapeutics in the Gastrointestinal areas is a plus.

  • Experience in managing bioanalytical and biomarker CROs.

  • Experience in modeling software such as Phoenix & Gastro-Plus.

  • Experience in interacting with health authority on CP topics.

  • Publication record with clinical pharmacology journals or modeling.
