The new Ironwood will focus on accelerating the growth of our marketed product Linzess® (linaclotide) and advancing the development of our innovative pipeline of treatments for GI diseases and abdominal pain. Following completion of the separation, the Payroll / Equity Senior Associate position will be part of the new Ironwood. The role will remain as described here.

The Payroll / Equity Senior Associate is responsible for owning several components of Ironwood’s payroll and stock plan administration. This is an excellent opportunity to build the function and continue to raise the bar, in terms of service delivery and customer satisfaction. This position is an integral member of the Finance & Accounting team reporting to the Sr. Payroll Manager, with a dotted line reporting relationship to the Equity Administration Manager.

The Payroll / Equity Senior Associate is responsible for executing Company policy in collaboration with other departments including Legal and HR Talent Team & Culture. This role will also work with vendors and internal stakeholders to provide and maintain best in class service levels as the company grows.
The ideal candidate for this position will interact with several functions and multiple levels of the organization including the senior executive team and must be extremely detail oriented. The role is responsible for implementing and maintaining relevant Company-wide communications as well as day-to-day interactions with the larger employee base. S/he must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
