Position description:

As an intern you will work in the Learning & Development department of our Talent, Team & Culture group, working on real projects to develop and grow Ironwood’s passionate innovators.


Our ideal candidate is someone with creative sensibility. Someone who is obsessively organized and quick, but also thoughtful when interacting and building relationships. We’re looking for a technology-savvy individual who is smart and efficient at all they do.


What You Will Learn:

  • How training strategy is crafted and how change management, marketing and communications bring bold plans to life

  • How to design (and source) compelling training programs and manage outside vendors from procurement through delivery

  • How to create marketing materials and generate excitement around L&D programs

  • How learning technology platforms are implemented and how to configure, test and launch digital training content

  • How training analytics and dashboards create a value narrative that drives the objectives of our organization

  • Much more – you will work closely with our Associate Director of Talent Management and others across HR to support Ironwood’s Talent, Team and Culture



Basic qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or advanced degree in Marketing, Communication, or other related discipline, or recent graduate

  • Available starting immediately for 25+ hours per week



Preferred qualifications:

  • Highly organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments

  • Fearless – not afraid to be a bold and outside the box thinker

  • Highly adept, curious and comfortable with technology; prior IT experience or background is strongly preferred

  • Love of collaboration, and general excitement about learning new skills
