Position description:

Ironwood is seeking a dedicated and resourceful Senior HRIS analyst to join the Total Rewards/HRIS Operations team.  At Ironwood, we believe that talent is our most important asset and a core value is that every team member (“Ironwoodian”) operates with a deep sense of ownership for the company.  This role will partner with HR Leaderships to analyze all HR systems and maintain them.

 

The Senior Analyst, HRIS and Operations will have a variety of responsibilities as the primary resource for our HR systems, including Oracle Cloud HCM, Taleo Business Edition, SumTotal, and others. The Senior Analyst will work to improve efficiencies, document processes, and work on special projects as needed. System responsibilities will include analyzing Oracle HCM process design and workflow, implementation support for new functionality, testing and process improvements (enhancement support) to leverage the return on technological capabilities. This individual will also be responsible to build project plans, ensure adherence to project schedules, maintain a systems and efficiency orientation and work effectively with peers. This position also serves as a technical point-of-contact for the team and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity (master data), report writing, data presentation and analysis, dashboard preparation, org hierarchy and functional process improvement opportunities. The Senior HRIS Analyst also partners with IT to ensure successful system upgrades, patches, testing, SOX, compliance matters, within the HR application portfolio.  If you thrive on working collaboratively, being entrepreneurial and exercising independent judgment, this role will provide you with rich development opportunities and position you to have significant impact on building Ironwood’s system infrastructure. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provides assistance in HR system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of Oracle HCM and Taleo system upgrades, releases or patches.

  • Writes, maintains, and supports a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools in multiple systems. Assists in development of standard reports for ongoing business needs. Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.

  • Continuously strives to improve process efficiencies, identifies opportunities to eradicate manual processes and transactions with automation, and works on special projects to support HR Operations, Compensation, Benefits, and TT&C.

  • Collaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Maintains all system tables. Documents process and results. Maintains system security roles to support business needs.

  • Provides production functional support, including researching and resolving Oracle HCM and Taleo problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.

  • Supports overall technology initiatives for the HR functions including maintenance of company intranet HR content.

  • Provides guidance and functional support to end users, customers and business partners by leading the research and optimization of all HR systems.

  • Conducts training, including developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Trains on new processes/functionality. Trains new system users.

  • Maintains awareness of current trends in HRMS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, value, enterprise applicability and applying key technologies. Examines trends in information systems training, materials and techniques. Through classes, reading, CBTs or other mechanisms, continuously increases both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge. Participates in user group meetings/conference.

 

Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

  • High level of proficiency in Oracle HCM in one or more functional areas (core HR, benefits, compensation, and performance).

  • Minimum 2 years Oracle experience working on an HRIS team.

  • At least 5 years of HR systems experience.

  • Solid knowledge of HR operations, systems structure, functions and business processes.

  • Good proficiency with Microsoft Excel

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

  • Organized and detail oriented

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies.
