Currently we have an outstanding opportunity for a Facilities Engineer at our Colorado Springs Manufacturing facility.  This position is well suited for a hands-on, technically inclined individual experienced in facilities and project management in a manufacturing / clean room environment.    


  • Identify new facilities projects to improve site efficiencies and drive down operational costs

  • Co-ordinate engineering activities throughout the life cycle of any given project

  • Overall responsibility for environmental compliance issues that become apparent during any facility renovation project

  • Depending on job complexity, facilitate permit approvals for any site related electrical, plumbing and HVAC work which may require external resources

  • Provide overall planning and organization during design and construction phases and prepare details reports to management that address project status and financial accountability

  • Ensure all on-site contractors meet current Health and Safety requirements

  • Day to day responsibility for facilities systems support and manufacturing site operations

  • May be responsible for general site health and safety guidance


  • BS Degree - Preferable in a technical field such as engineering

  • A minimum of 5 years’ project and facilities management experience

  • Leadership in project management and delivering  projects on-time and and on budget is critical component of this position

  • Understanding of cleanroom design and maintenance

  • Experience in managing small <$10k and up to $1M projects

  • HVAC system principals of operation

  • Industrial electrical infrastructure knowledge – highly preferred

  • Experience in building management systems and infrastructure requirements

  • Water recycle and life safety systems experience desired

  • Process and purified water system experience

  • Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint required

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Able to work alone and be self-motivated
