Licensed Insolvency Trustee, Consumer Insolvency

Summary:

The Licensed Insolvency Trustee manages bankruptcy/insolvency practice and employees and also assumes full accountability and responsibility for the acquisition of consumer files to ensure brand excellence and dominant market share.

Skills, Education, and Competencies

  • Licensed Trustee in Bankruptcy
  • May hold a CA, CGA, or CMA designation
  • May hold a University Degree in Business
  • Has minimum 3 years progressive insolvency experience
  • Knowledgeable of all insolvency proceedings
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Excellent computer skills/software skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Demonstrated marketing skills leading to revenue generation
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Bilingualism would be an asset

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducting entire meetings with debtors, including assessment (personally overseeing the entire signings and consultation) for filings
  • Developing, refreshing and executing a marketing plan with the support of partners and assistance of managers to achieve dominant market share
  • Assisting managers in resolving complex issues
  • Creating strong relationships with Debtors
  • Assisting in delivering training and marketing programs
  • Managing special projects as determined by Partners
  • Maintaining the Firms standards with respect to ethics and code of conduct for Trustees
  • Other responsibilities as required
