             Job Description:

Performs any combination of the following duties on construction projects, usually working in utility capacity, by transferring from one task to another where demands require worker with varied experience and ability to work without close supervision. Must be able to: read a tape measure, jack hammer, remove concrete, pour, puddle and vibrate concrete, build, set and strip forms, tie rebar walls and cages, dig footings to proper depth/width, strip, clean and stack form material and have general organization and housekeeping skills.

Minimum Tool Requirements:

  • Tool bag, tape measure, hammer

Physical Requirements:

  • Stand for long periods of time

  • Have full use of arms and hands and the ability to reach for, handle and manipulate objects

  • Frequently lift and carry materials weighing 50 to 100 pounds

  • Climb up and down ladders, scaffolds and other objects

  • Carry tools and equipment

  • Be able to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl for long periods of time

  • Be able to see (naturally or with correction)

    The environment is exclusively outdoors, thus the job often involves all weather extremes.  Work requires alert individuals with good balance, physical strength and on-the-job training.
