Job Description:

Must be able to: read a tape measure, use a site level, build and install formwork, construct stay in place decking along with over hangs for bridges and misc. structures from the footing up, have an understanding of concrete pressures used in forming systems, set anchor bolts and embedded steel, install blocking, read and interpret shop drawings/plans, drive pile, be proficient/certified in welding.

Minimum Tool Requirements:

  • Tool belt, hammer, tape measure, pliers, dykes, chalk box, square, plumb-bob

Physical Requirements:

  • Climb and maintain balance on scaffold, ladders and narrow work surfaces
  • Reach for, handle and manipulate objects and materials
  • Lift and carry objects weighing up to 100 pounds
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl
  • See well (either naturally or with correction)
  • Be comfortable working at various heights

The environment is exclusively outdoors, thus the job often involves all weather extremes.  Work requires alert individuals with good balance, physical strength and on-the-job training.
