Our client is a rapidly innovative growing company who specializes in Cyber Security. 

They are currently seeking a Groovy Grails Applications Developer in Mclean, VA.



We are seeking an experienced Groovy Grails developer who under minimal direction performs as a fully experienced Software Developer. Our team maintains Identity and Access Management (IAM) applications governing thousands of users.

• Coding with Groovy/Grails 2.x and 3.x 
• Defect diagnosis and remediation 
• Unit and integration testing with JUnit and Spock 
• Perform builds with Maven and Gradle 
• Follow an agile (Scrum-like) process and keep process tools up-to-date 
• Ability to write technical documentation 
• Participate in agile planning events 
• Read and write basic/intermediate level SQL



• Groovy/Grails 2.x and 3.x 
• Java 7 
• JUnit and Spock testing frameworks 
• Maven and Gradle build tools 
• Eclipse/GGTS 
• SQL 
• Experience with Agile methodology 
• Familiarity with Tomcat 
• Familiarity with JBoss 
• Concurrency/multi-threaded programming 
• Linux 
• Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent and seven to nine years of related experience



• Basic Linux shell scripting
• Experience with SQL Developer (or other Oracle SQL authoring tool)
• Experience with pgAdmin III (or other PostgreSQL SQL authoring tool)
• Pentaho
• Jenkins
• Artifactory
• LDAP and LDAP queries
• Microsoft’s Active Directory
• Familiarity with various authentication protocols (e.g. Kerberos, certificates, SSH, OpenSSL)
• Familiarity with authorization concepts such as RBAC, ABAC
• JavaScript and JQuery
• Familiarity with AJAX


• Bachelors in relevant field (or equivalent experience)



• Active TS\SCI with Poly+
