The Senior Release Manager is responsible for assisting in Release Planning Activities and Monitoring for completion of compliance activities for a given set of applications.

Principal Accountabilities:
Partner with development managers to provide leadership around:
• Co-ordinating and maintaining release schedule for several applications in partnership with the local managers and teams
• Track release dates within application domains for applications that need to be released together
• Assist with the Local Approval group to review the upcoming deployments during the week
• Work as part of the wider Global release team to help plan and prioritise overall deployment plan
• Work the wider operations teams on capacity constraints based on deployments and help prioritise accordingly
• Continually review deployment processes for areas of improvement
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and provide input into recommendations on process improvements and new best practices

Skills & Software Requirements:
• Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence & Remedy (or similar applications)
• Working knowledge of development tools & source code repositories
• Working knowledge of IT Software Development Life Cycle methodologies

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Substanial experience in IT with experience in an IT Project/Release Management related role
• Experience working with Agile methodologies
• Strong knowledge of IT business processes and practices
• Excellent oral, written and collaborative communication skills
