Job Summary:
Directly support the Director of Business Resilience (BR) and all business resilience program efforts, and regularly collaborate with BCM’s additional program elements (Disaster Recovery, Crisis Analysis & Response, Third Party Risk Management, and Compliance).

In this capacity, the candidate will assist and, in some cases, lead the development and implementation of procedures and tools to ensure that CME Group’s business resilience capabilities are effective and efficient, and remain in compliance with all laws, regulations and best practices. This position will work regularly with Business Continuity Coordinators from all CME Group departments to ensure current and accurate Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) and Business Recovery Plans (BRPs). Additionally, the position will assist with day-to-day business continuity activities, including incident response planning and training, employee education, and business unit recovery exercises. This position will also identify/recommend opportunities to improve process, quality, and efficiency of processes.

Principal Accountabilities:
• Day-to-day maintenance of BIAs and BRPs, including leadership of review and approval process
• Regular outreach to all departments regarding plan updates and information collection, and regular review and/or replacement of BCCs and their managers as necessary
• Production of BIA/BRP summaries and reports for all audiences on a regular basis
• Regularly review/assess operational plans and procedures regarding both day-to-day operations and emergency operations
• Testing and maintenance of existing tools and related data
• Assist with exercise planning and facilitation
• Support all incident response activities (planning, training, operations)

• Bachelors Degree
• Salesforce or similar database experience preferred
• Knowledge of all Microsoft office tools
• Understanding of the financial services sector and the markets is preferable
• Strong project/time management, communication, and relationship-building skills are essential
• 3 to 5+ Years Relevant Experience is Typical
