The Business Continuity Management (BCM) team at CME group is responsible for mitigating potential impacts to its markets, customers, assets and employees and to safeguard the effective availability of essential products and services. The BCM team focuses on three functional areas – Crisis Analysis and Response, Business Resiliency and Disaster Recovery.

This role will sit within the Disaster Recovery area which helps ensure we can recover our technology and systems following an incident that renders then unavailable. Supporting the Senior Director of DR and Regulatory Compliance from our Belfast office, you will be responsible for;
• Ensuring the company can deliver ITDR, business continuity and related services at the level necessary to support its business, customers and regulatory requirements. In line with all compliance, legal and regulatory obligations.
• Manage and deliver enhanced ITDR strategies and processes consistent with organizational and regulatory requirements
• Disaster recovery and business continuity testing, maintenance of documentation, continuous improvement and gap analyses.
• Document disaster recovery and business continuity processes, procedures, plans and instructions
• Partner with Technology, Compliance and other ITDR stakeholders throughout projects and initiatives
• Represent the BCM team at various technology department (change management, operational acceptance, COG, IT Compliance & Controls, etc.) meetings
• Assist with BCM projects and initiatives

Essential Criteria
• Bachelor's degree (Management Information Systems, Computer Science) or equivalent strongly preferred, but substantial relevant experience could substitute.
• Demonstrable experience in a IT Disaster Recovery capacity
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence effectively at all levels of management
• Proficient in MS Office products Experience with Fusion Risk Management, Salesforce, ClearView or other business continuity program management software a plus
