The Clearing Solutions Analyst is responsible for support of the clearing system. Tasks involve identifying, troubleshooting, & resolving internal system problems as well as external customer-related IT issues. The incumbent provides immediate assistance to clearing members back office, staff personnel & IT staff to achieve the highest customer satisfaction & minimize the impact of clearing related problems. He/She is responsible for completing special projects assigned w/ divisional staff.

Principal Accountabilities:
• Engage with the clearing member firms, their staff and the trading floor community in general to communicate important information about system maintenance, changes and events, and to address back office client concerns regarding any aspect of the services
• Frontline support for production change processes including testing, risk assessment and deployment
• Mitigate operational risk by developing expertise in all our in-house client-facing applications.
• Thoroughly analyze customer issues, provide superior customer service and support to back office clients and departmental staff, and escalate appropriately more severe problems to the appropriate staff for resolution and involve senior management so they are aware.
• Understand the CME Clearing processing and apply knowledge to improve system performance and reliability
