The Manager Project Management / Release Management works closely with technology teams to facilitate prioritization decisions and I&O release planning activities across multiple platforms/applications.  The role is also responsible for managing SDLC process within the supported technology teams.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Facilitate prioritization decisions and scheduling of scope into releases
  • Facilitate adoption of Agile methodologies and best practices
  • Manage/represent release roadmap and deployment dates across affected global teams
  • Monitor status of project milestones and communicate dates to stakeholders
  • Coordinate with project teams to define and report status on project milestones
  • Coordinate/schedule tasks across affected global teams including vendors
  • Monitor adherence to the SDLC process
  • Support maintenance of tickets and workflows within the work management tool
  • Update staffing plans and track staff allocation to projects


  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or business-related discipline required
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in IT with 3 years in a role with accountability for adherence to process, managing project dates, or related activities
  • Attentive to detail but able to see the big picture; sound business acumen
  • Familiarity with SDLC processes, Agile concepts/best practices and Agile based work management tools
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Periphery knowledge of development tools, source code repositories, etc
  • Periphery knowledge of database and collaboration software and its integration to the enterprise, etc
  • Working knowledge of IT Software Development Life Cycle methodologies
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence and BMC Remedy a must
