As a Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator at Emanuel Medical Center  you will work under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy, the Clinical Coordinator leads the pharmacy staff in performing clinical services and is responsible for coordinating the clinical activities of staff pharmacists.

About the Facility Emanuel Medical Center is a 206 bed acute care, non-profit community hospital that has been providing healthcare services to the community of Turlock since 1917.  The hospital offers state-of-the art emergency, critical care, birthing, pediatrics, cardiology, surgery, imaging, laboratory, rehabilitation, home health, hospice and community education.  The hospital is widely acclaimed for its cardiac surgery program and new Cancer Center that is fully accredited by the American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer in recognition of its stellar quality of treatment and care. The Pharmacy is open 24/7 and is centralized with BMV and supported by Meditech and Omnicell. The Pharmacy is managed by Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS).  The Director of Pharmacy and the Clinical Coordinator are employees of CPS.  All other pharmacy staff are employees of the hospital.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS or PharmD degree from an accredited school of pharmacy Current CA Pharmacist license in good standing
  • 2 years’ experience as a staff pharmacist
  • Completion of a Residency in an ASHP accredited program preferred
  • 1 year experience as a supervisory pharmacist involved with clinical program development

Skills and Abilities:    Ability to work independently and handle stress appropriately.  Ability to work cooperatively with other members of Comprehensive Pharmacy Services and hospital and pharmacy staff.  Ability to handle multiple tasks, and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule.  Ability to set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns.  Fosters a team environment.  Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written).  Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
