Looking for a per diem pharmacist to help cover evening shifts as needed (1pm-9pm) and occasional days/weekends for PTO coverage.
Pharmacy Hours: 7am-9pm Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm Saturday & Sunday
Description: As a Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) Staff Pharmacist at Havenwyck Hospital your duties involve verification of physician medication orders; documentation of pharmacist interventions; providing drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals; checking work performed by pharmacy technicians; filling controlled substance orders; printing computer-generated reports as required by the hospital and other duties assigned by the Director of Pharmacy.
Facility: Havenwyck Hospital is a 182-bed, JCAHO-approved, and licensed psychiatric and substance abuse facility overlooking Lake Galloway in central Oakland County. Havenwyck serves Southeastern Michigan with distinct, specialized programs for children, adolescents, and adults in the outpatient center, as well as through inpatient programs. Management of the pharmacy is outsourced to Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS).
