Staff Pharmacist- Per Diem (as needed)

As a per diem Staff Pharmacist with Comprehensive Pharmacy Services at River Oaks Hospital, you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.
This position is scheduled to work every other Sunday from 7a-Noon and provides coverage when staff take time off as available.
Situated on a 14 acre campus, services are available for all ages (children, adolescents, adults, seniors) and at all levels of care (inpatient, day or partial hospitalization, outpatient, and intensive outpatient). The New Orleans Institute specialized services for the treatment of trauma and compulsive behaviors. The Eating Disorders Treatment Center offers a comprehensive program for male and female adolescents and adults with anorexia, bulimia and related eating disorders. Both the New Orleans Institute and the Eating Disorders Treatment Center are nationally recognized for their excellence. Both programs are referred patients from around the United States and are acknowledged as leading centers in their fields. This pharmacy is open Monday-Friday from 7am-3:30 pm and weekends from 7am-Noon. Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of the pharmacy.
