We are looking for a per diem Pharmacist to work 2 or 3 Fridays a month, 2 days per month to cover for the Director and help cover PTO “as needed”. 

Hours:   Weekdays 9am-7pm (or 11am-7pm depending on census). Weekends Noon-5pm (or Noon-4pm depending on census)

Description:   As a Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) Staff Pharmacist at Accel Rehabilitation Hospital of Plano, you will provide support for clinical programs and practices within the hospital as well as fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.  


Facility:   Accel Rehabilitation Hospital of Plano is a 42-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility offering cutting edge comprehensive acute rehabilitative care in an immaculate, comfortable Plano hospital in the north Dallas, Texas, area.  Management of the pharmacy is outsourced to Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS). All Pharmacy staff are CPS employees.  


  • Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Current TX Pharmacist licenses in good standing
  • Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other members of CPS and hospital and pharmacy staff
  • IV Certification preferred
