Intern – Workplace Interiors & Architecture

Gensler’s Washington, DC office is currently accepting applications for our 2018 Summer Intern Program.

This is a full-time, paid internship over a 12-week period beginning at the end of May 2018 and concluding mid-August 2018 (dates can be flexible). You must be available for the entire duration of the program.

We offer the opportunity to work on design projects as an integrated member of our design teams alongside professionals at all levels of their career.  Our intern program will expose participants to a wide range of design experiences.  

You must meet the following criteria to be considered:

  • Currently enrolled in an Architecture or Interior Design program
  • Have completed your third year of undergraduate education or first year of graduate education
  • Have demonstrated innovative design solutions with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Revit skills required
  • Experience in AutoCAD preferred.
  • Hand sketching ability
  • Strong 3-D computer rendering skills (such as Sketchup, 3-D Max, VRay)
  • Skilled with presentation software such as InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
