Talent Development Program Manager

Your Role

As a Talent Development Program Manager in Gensler’s Washington, DC office, you are an experienced and entrepreneurial manager who provides strategic guidance and tactical leadership to the team and center of excellence managers tasked with delivering the firm’s talent and leadership programs. Your work enhances and sustains Gensler’s innovative and entrepreneurial culture and achieves desirable outcomes in the most efficient manners possible. You are responsible for the oversight of day-to-day program operations within Gensler’s talent development center of excellence. You have experience successfully managing complex projects, budgets and deadlines. You report to the Director of Professional Development.

What You Will Do

  • Operational oversight of global talent development programs working with leads to deliver team goals.  
  • Support the project-level activity to ensure all program goals are met.
  • Develop and communicate “people” metrics and reporting on a regular basis.
  • Work with center of excellence managers to create staffing, budget, and project plans for Director approval.
  • Track programs against schedules, budgets and against milestone objectives.
  • Regular reporting to Director and center of excellence managers.
  • Develop and implement recovery programs.  
  • Work with the Studio Coordinator to manage ongoing maintenance, scheduling, and implementation of the firm’s early career programs and professional development programs.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-7 years’ experience, 3 years’ relevant program management experience.
  • Demonstrated success in leadership and management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of talent development strategies, policies, and procedures.   
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Basic proficiency in Adobe creative suite (InDesign).
  • Organized, efficient, and able to work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
