High School graduate or equivalent required with basic reading and writing skills
A minimum of five (5) years of heavy/highway and/or building construction experience preferred with heavy emphasis on formwork. Prefer a minimum of two (2) years of construction supervisory experience.
Ability to work at heights up to 150ft. Blueprint/plan reading and interpretative skills, math skill
Must be willing to travel.

We are currently looking for a Carpenter Foreman to join our team. Job duties include:
Construct built-in-place or prefabricated wooden and/or metal forms, according to specifications, for molding concrete structures such as: piers, footers, retaining walls, abutments, parapets, caps, columns, bridge desks, etc.
Lead/direct carpenter crew members by assigning individual members of the crew to specific tasks in order to assure that work assigned to the crews is performed properly and to the specification(s) while maintaining production schedule(s)
Plan work to be performed in advance of performing such work; as well as determining material and/or equipment needed, informing project supervisors of such upcoming needs.
Record keeping – complete daily time sheets, accident reports, planning meeting reports, etc.
Responsible for the safety of those on the crew and will conduct all operations according to all applicable company and government safety rules. Will develop and maintain a proper crew attitude by conducting weekly Planning Meetings and displaying a positive safety attitude toward all daily operations performed.
Responsible for monitoring compliance by all employees under his/her supervision with all company policies; may issue disciplinary action to employees when infractions of such policies occur – with overall review/approval of project superintendent and/or Human Resources.
